पहचान ( Recognization ) :- जिस वाक्य के अंत में से रहा था , से रही थी , से रहे थे , आदि शब्द आते है उसे past perfect continuous tense कहते है।
For example -
past perfect continuous tense के वाक्यों का अनुवाद करते समय Since (निश्चित समय के लिए) तथा For (अनिश्चित समय के लिए ) प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Use of Since :- जब past perfect continuous tense के sentence में
दिन का नाम , महीने का नाम ,
सप्ताह का नाम , मौसम का नाम ,
त्यौहार का नाम दसाओ का नाम
आदि दिखाई दे तो वह पे since का प्रयोग करना न भूले।
Use of For :- जब past perfect continuous tense के sentence में
कई /एक दिन , कई /एक सप्ताह ,
कई /दो महीने , कई /चार साल ,
कई / छः दीपावलियाँ
, आदि दिखाई दे तो वह पे For का प्रयोग करना न भूले।

Affirmative Sentences in past perfect continuous tense
Affirmative Sentences tense बनाते समय हम सबसे पहले Subject उसके बाद had been और फिर verb 1st from ing के साथ लिखते है और बाद में object का प्रयोग करते है उसके बाद हम since या for और फिर time का प्रयोग करते है

Negative Sentences : Negative Sentences बनाते समय NOT हमेशा तीसरे स्थान पे लागते है।

- I had not been reading my book since yesterday.
- सीमा दो दिन से बच्चो को नहीं पढ़ रही थी।

- रवि दो घंटे से साइकिल नहीं चला रहा था।
- Ravi had not been riding cycle for two hours.
- वह जुलाई से इस कॉलेज में नहीं पढ़ रही थी।
- She had not been studying in this college since July.
