* Tense :-
Any sentence is incomplete without a verb. Without the verb, the sentence also has no meaning. Time is revealed by the form of the verb . It is called tense.


(कोई भी वाक्य बिना क्रिया  Verb   के अधूरा होता है | क्रिया  Verb के बिना वाक्य का भी कोई अर्थ नहीं निकलता | क्रिया  Verb  के जिस रूप से समय का पता चलता है | उसे Tense  कहते है)


* Tense तीन प्रकार के होते है |

a) :- Present Tense (वर्तमान काल)

b) :- Past Tense (भूत काल)

c) :- Future Tense (भविष्य काल)


* Definition of Present Tense ?

a):- Present Tense :- If there is a feeling of an action happening or happening in the present time, happening, has been done, or has happened and has been happening for a long time, then it is called "Present Tense ".

किसी कार्य के वर्तमान समय में होने या करने , हो रहा है , हो चूका है , या हो गया है तथा एक लबे समय से होता रहा है , का बोध हो ,तो उसे "Present Tense" कहते है |

For example -
                    1.  I read a book .                                                मै पुस्तक पढ़ता हूँ | 
                    2.  I an reading a book .                                      मैं पुस्तक पढ़ रहा हूँ| 
                    3.   I have read a book .                                       मैं पुस्तक पढ़ चुका हूँ| 
                    4.  I have been reading a book for an hour .       मै एक घंटे से पुस्तक पढ़ रहा हूँ |  



b) :- Past Tense :-"During the Past time of an action, it is called Past Tense if there is a feeling of being or doing, happening, had happened, or had happened, and it has been happening for a long time".

किसी कार्य   के बीते हुए समय मै होने या करने , हो रहा था , हो चुका था , या हो गया था , तथा एक लबे समय से होता रहा था का बोध हो ,तो उसे  Past Tense कहते है |

For example -
                       1. I wrote a letter .                                           मै पत्र लिखता था |
                       2.  I was writing a letter .                                 मै पत्र लिखा रहा था |
                       3. I had written a letter .                                  मै पत्र लिखा चुका था |
                       4. I had been writing a letter for two days.      मै दो दिनों से पत्र लिखा रहा था |

c) :- Future Tense :- " In  the  coming  time  of  a  work,  whether  it   is  happeing  or  is going  to  happen  or  will  happen,  has  happened,  or  has  taken  place  and  if  there  is  a sense  of  what  is  happening  for  a  certain  time,  then  it  is  called  "Future  Tense".

किसी  कार्य के  आने  वाले  समय  में  होना  या   करने ,  हो  रहा  होगा  या  होता  रहेगा ,  हो  चुका  होगा , या  हो  गया  होगा  तथा  एक निश्चित  समय  से  होता  आ रहा  होगा  का  बोध  हो , तो  उसे  Future Tense  कहते  है |

For example- 
                      1. I shall write a letter .                           मै पत्र लिखूगा | 
                      2. I shall be writing a letter .                   मै पत्र लिखता रहूगा |
                      3. I shall have written a letter .               मै पत्र लिखा चुकूँगा | 
                      4. I shall have been writing a letter .      मै पत्र लिखता आ रहा होऊंगा |
